Teaching Teachers to Ask, Not Tell

ACELERATORS Training Team shares the craft of facilitation, at home and abroad.

Building a shared approach

Across three Saturdays in September, 15 to 20 new academic and non-academic staff gathered at Dwi Emas International School for the next four modules of ACE Culture Training. Sessions covered Dynamic Discipline, Fearless Facilitation, Crash Course in Coursework and ACE EdVenture’s Secret Sauce.

This month’s topics leaned into the classroom, giving academic staff practical strategies to use straight away with students. The goal is a shared toolkit for managing students, making life smoother for teachers and learning more consistent for every child.

Taking facilitation to Vietnam

On 24 September, the team delivered its Master Facilitator Training Program online to about 20 educators from our international partner, 8A Academy. Participants learned guided questioning and slide delivery techniques, then designed their own lesson hooks in breakout groups.

Despite being online and a first meeting, the session buzzed with energy, with most participants contributing actively throughout. 8A Academy’s management praised the training as practical and relevant, offering useful insights on applying different facilitation approaches to their learning materials.
