Innovative Baking FoodTech Challenge at Monash University

🥣Stirring up creativity, one muffin at a time!
 
Recently, our ACE Biosphere students put their baking skills to good use at the Innovative Baking FoodTech Challenge, held at Monash University —-where creativity meets culinary skills in the sweetest way! 🧁
 
Tasked with baking muffins, our young chefs explored unique flavour combinations by adding their own special twist! From Oreo muffins 🍪 to lemon muffins 🍋and blueberry cream cheese muffins 🫐 — every bite was a delightful treat for our judges’ taste buds.
 
A huge thank you to NatureTech (ACE Biosphere) and School of Science (Monash Malaysia) for co-organising such an interesting challenge, giving our students the opportunity to experience baking in Monash Food Science Kitchen. We also enjoyed a lab tour with the Monash team, discovering the ins and outs of the School of Science..
 
Learning goes far beyond the classroom, our students got a real taste of what it’s like to mix science with creativity, and left with new skills, full hearts, and maybe a muffin or two in their bags! ✨
